Chef Jungsik Yim's vision — rooted in Korean culinary tradition but expressed with contemporary rigour — demanded a digital counterpart that could carry the same weight and refinement.

Challenge

The existing site failed to convey the restaurant's identity. The visual language was generic, the reservation flow was clunky, and nothing about the experience online communicated the deliberateness of what happens at the table. For a two-star establishment, the digital presence was the weakest part of the guest journey.

Solution

We designed around restraint and intention — the same principles that define Jungsik's cooking. A minimal, typography-led layout gave space to the food photography without competing with it.
